Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 - 5:00. No weekends or Holidays. Flexible scheduling available.
Under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, this position will provide behavioral health services while coordinating with agency care teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient behavioral health evaluation and treatment to scheduled clients, clients being evaluated for reconciliation following hospitalization and evaluations for acute psychiatric issues.
Provide clinical consultation to and collaboration with staff regarding the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of clients.
Documents in electronic health record client evaluation and treatment within agency standards.
Educated individuals served, their families, the treatment team and other professionals as needed.
Contributes to multidisciplinary learning of visiting residents, fellows, or nursing students.
Observe all rules of confidentiality as it relates to clinical information, both internally and in dealing with outside individuals and/or agencies.
Responsible for being knowledgeable about rights of individuals served and the procedures governing them.
Participate in ongoing agency and staff training/development programs.
Maintains standard care arrangement to practice as an advanced practice nurse in accordance with Ohio Board of Nursing regulations.
